....it makes me think, "Wow! God is AWESOME!"

As I grow older I become more observant of my surroundings and many things make me think, “WOW, God is awesome!”

I decided to compose a list:

the changing of the seasons

  

The birth of a baby

  

Seeing movement on a pregnant woman’s belly

  

The many uses for water

  

The roar of the ocean

  

The song of the birds

  

The smell of roses

  

The taste of chocolate

  

The warmth of sunshine

A rainbow after a storm

  

The rewards of faithfulness

  

The love of family

  

The ability to laugh

  

The presence of joy

  

The sound of rain on the rooftops

  

The voice of the anointed singer (like Eric Bias or Mandissa)

  

The faithfulness of a pet dog

  

The beauty of jewels like; emeralds, rubies, sapphire, and diamonds

  

The smell of warm cookies

  

The gentle touch of my husband

  

My little brother and sister

  

My dad’s healing

  

My mom’s strength and heart

  

The Holy Spirit that guides me

  

The presence of the Lord in my home

  

The overwhelming felling of a perfect love that only God can provide

  

Knowing that forgiveness is available

  

Seeing the lost saved

  

Seeing the sick healed

  

Watching the lame walk

  

Hearing the sorrowful rejoice

  

Experiencing the Holy Spirit in an awesome church service

  

Being overwhelmed by God where ever I am

I know my list is small and that I may have jumped around a bit but I find myself seeing God in not only spiritual things but so many physical things (much more than I could ever list). His magnificence is not contained to four walls of a church or locked inside leather binding but in every good thing. He deserves much more than I give Him. I am looking forward to an eternity with such an AWESOME GOD!
