New Camera

March brought many changes.. Pete and I took the leap and decided to purchase a car, well actually a Jeep. It was something that had many prayer hours logged in and many thoughts that brought us to one decision. So squeaking into April with nearly 200,000 miles on our trusty Explorer we purchased a Jeep Commander. I love it and so does Pete. Not only did God open up that door but the very next day we purchased a 1990 Ford Bronco. Yeah I know..... why an old Bronco. It is what Pete has wanted for months but we could never seem to find one at the right price. We purchased it for $1,100. It is so big and I am a little hesitant to drive it but oh well. I will leave the manly vehicle to the Man!
We have been so blessed. We have both seen favor on our jobs and favor in our finances. We are still awaiting a baby but know that it is only a matter of time. We are currently getting more involved with ministry in our church and loving the new people that we meet.
I caught a glimpse of the kids that we wanted to adopt. They have changed so much. They are really growing up and I am so glad that they are growing up in a loving, Christian home. Shannon is adopting 3 kids and boy oh boy does she have her work cut out for her.
Pete and I went 4-wheeling and shot some video of a mountain lion. Some people try to say that it is a house cat but I know that house cats do not grow as big or bigger than german sheppards.:)
Now June is here and the sun is shining (when it is not raining) and I have a new camera. The Explorer sold and Pete decided to pamper me and buy me a camera that has been on my wishlist for sometime now. I love it and hope to share some pics with you on my blog. It takes great pics, or maybe I take them...HMMMM? I have even took pics of our garden. Yeah I know that excites you.
I am leaving you with this thought:

Psalm 18 (the Message)

1-2 I love you, God— you make me strong.
God is bedrock under my feet,
the castle in which I live,
my rescuing knight.
My God—the high crag
where I run for dear life,
hiding behind the boulders,
safe in the granite hideout.
